Shot of TV screens in regional control centre monitoring traffic on motorway at night There is the faint sound of traffic.
Cut away to motorway, focusing on a car travelling along.  
Cut to inside of car. A man is driving along with his children in the back of the car. The children are fighting with each other. “He’s annoying me” the girl says. “She hit me” boy says.
Cut to a lorry driving along the motorway, changing from one lane into the next.  
Cut back to the car, showing the children are still fighting and complaining. One of the children cries out in annoyance at the other.
Cut back to the lorry changing lanes. The load is becoming lose on the back.  
Cut back to the inside of the car, the father turns around to tell the children off in the back. The father says “Be quiet. Please I’m trying to drive…”
Cut away to a close up of the back of the lorry, the load becomes dislodged and begins to fall off the side onto the motorway.  
Cuts back to son in the back of the car. He cries out to his father. Boy cries out “Daaaaad!” and there is the sound of a lorry blowing its horn.
Cut away to the scene on a TV screen in the Highways Agency’s regional control centre.  
The camera pans back to show the operator watching the incident on the screens. She is speaking into her headset to a Traffic Officer near the scene. The regional control centre operator says “…hotel alpha to whiskey mike one three.”
Cut back to a shot of the lorry. The driver is breaking as he realises the load has come loose. There is the sound of squealing tyres.
Cut away to shot of cars following the truck breaking.  
Cut back to the operator in the control centre talking into her headset. The operator continues by saying “Can you make M6 alpha carriage way.
Cut away to a shot of Highways Agency response vehicle driving along the motorway. Voice over from the operator saying “Between junctions…”
Cut away to see a barrel from the lorry bouncing along the motorway. Voice over from the operator saying “Debris on carriageway”
Cut away to the Highways Agency vehicle with its lights and siren on, responding to the incident. The traffic officer answers the operator and says “…Whiskey mike one zero to hotel alpha.”
Close up on the sirens on the Highways Agency vehicle.  
Cut way to the side of the vehicle as it speeds past and short clips from other angles.  
Cut back to the control centre operator then onto a shot of the overhead motorway lane indicators showing that the first lane is closed with the other two lanes open. She says “lane one is closed”
Cut away to show the family in their car slowing for hazard beacons set up by the traffic officer. We can see the children in the back of their car watching out the window. The Traffic officer is visible in the reflection of the car window, and he is closing the door to his vehicle. Voice over of the narrator saying “Be part of the team.”
Cut away to the traffic officer walking in front of his vehicle towards the camera. The Highways agency logo appears along with the caption “The Highways Agency Traffic Officer Service.
